Anna Rocks Hot Springs!

Even though she got a splinter by just pointing at the Sign that said she was on the Appalachian Trail, Anna showed rare verve and guts when she tubed Stairstep, a Class III rapid on the Big Laurel.

Frank Stallings turns 80!

Once again the lovely Stallings family took us in and fed us and listened to our tall paddling tales.

I just want everyone to know that I wasn't always a cake-decorating, summer hausfrau. This is what I was doing 3 days before Olivia was born.

This morning she opened her gifts from Mimi & Pappy--a Sunny Patch tent/house and a Strawberry Shortcake wheelbarrow.

Olivia is now 3!!

On her birthday, Olivia had her favorite meal, corn on the cob, for breakfast. Then she opened up a tube of many many frogs and turtles.
